Stretching

Stretching/ Mobility work – Many of us would benefit from a regular regime of stretching or mobility work. The reasons for this include but are not limited to:

  • Increased range of motion for increased strength potential.
  • More muscle activation.
  • Decreased risk of injury.
  • Improved posture.
  • Decreased soreness and joint pain.
  • More fluid movements.

Working on mobility is important to ensure that our bodies can continue to move how we want them to, to continue to do all the things that make us happy, or that we need to be able to do just to get by day to day. Stretching will also help prolong the effects of your massage treatment.
